before the morning sun

One december’s morning while I was at home in Slovenj Gradec, early morning’s sun woke me up! It was quite amazing. I was awakened in the moment. Only if you are lucky, you can experience morning sun during the winter In Ljubljana, so I decided to take a few early morning’s photos.

I woke up at 6.00, put fisheye on my D7000, put on the warmest shoes I could possibly find and went on a front lawn. Set camera to interval shooting, every 30s for 2hours.

Silence.   Cold.   -16° C.   Night.   Stars.   Lights.  Nature.  Snow. I really have to do it more often!

Cracking ice.   Cold.   Touched by the warmth of first sunlight.
